At an age when many people slow down, I discovered a new beginning — and it happened at Walmart.
For 11 years, I volunteered every Saturday and missed only three days.
For the past 2 years and 10 months, I’ve been proudly working at Walmart — and I’ve missed only two days.
Every day, I come to work with one belief:
“Work as if you are the owner.”
After retirement, I felt lost and empty.
But Walmart didn’t look at my age — they looked at my heart, my effort, and my willingness to serve.
Here, I laugh again.
I stay active.

I help others.
And I feel something precious:
I am still needed.
